Trex Composite Deck Rebuild with Privacy Screen in Pickwick Village, Canton Township MI

Project Overview

The original deck featured an angled design that limited usable space and no longer met the homeowners’ goals for their outdoor living area. Titan Decks removed the existing structure and constructed a completely new framing system designed to support a composite picture-frame layout and modern outdoor living features.

The new deck was finished with Trex Naturals Toasted Sand composite decking, matching fascia, and a picture-frame border that creates a clean architectural appearance. The redesigned layout squared off the original angle, increasing usable deck space and creating a more functional outdoor environment.

New Trex Select black aluminum railings provide safety while maintaining open sightlines to the backyard. To increase privacy and comfort, a Hideaway aluminum privacy screen was installed along the south side of the deck, creating a more secluded outdoor living space.

The project also included a completely rebuilt staircase and grading improvements around the deck perimeter. Additional river rock was installed to help correct negative grading and improve drainage away from the home.
